Monster High Frankenstein Costumes

http://www.zhippo.com/AddictiveInkTattoosHOSTED/images/gallery/Octo_Stien_Tattoo_M.jpg

Your reasons for getting a tattoo may just be like everyone else's, but you should at least you know why you really want to have it. If you want to get monster tattoos, you should understand its significance and its general image. Some say that since monsters have a sinister nature, not everyone can carry the meaning that it implies ones it is used for the design of a tattoo. But if you are among the brave ones who think they can pull off this look, then here are some things that you might find interesting in relation to this kind of tattoos:
What do monsters signify?
Monsters are fictional characters created by the imagination of writers or may be based on folklore and other myths. In Greek and Roman mythology, monsters take many forms and are often hideous-looking and menacing. In most stories, monsters appear to have more power and dominance over other creatures, and as such become common to people who want to be more aggressive with their tattoos. It shows how strong the personality of a person is, and is often a means of intimidating other people.
Which monster tattoo should you get?
Since there are many monster tattoos that you can choose from, you might be in a dilemma of choosing one to have on your own. The key factor in deciding which one to get is your ideals and beliefs regarding monsters. Different cultures have varied interpretations of monsters, as well as a wide array of images that represent them. In some cultures, monsters may be large creatures with human and animal features in one, while some have monsters that are small yet are still project an image that is somewhat threatening. You can try to read books and tales of your culture that have monsters in it, or you can also explore the ideas from other cultures.
How do I get the perfect tattoo?
If you have already chosen a monster design, you can ask your tattoo artist if he can create it for you. If the tattoo artist is skilled enough to make monster tattoos as his creations, then you can be at ease that you will get the perfect design that you want to have. Just like in the medical profession, you can always ask for a second opinion from other tattoo artists so you will be able to choose accordingly. Tattoos may be made in grayscale or in color, so you have to know what you exactly want your tattoo to turn out and present your sentiments to the tattoo artist.
How do I know if I can pull off a monster tattoo?
Having a tattoo, no matter what design it is, is not really dependent on its meaning alone. Brandishing a tattoo signifies your capability of being brave enough to have a symbol on your skin that is visible to others, and it cannot really be said that one design may not look good on you. As many people would say, it is always the thought that counts.

How to Pop Pimples

http://www.zhippo.com/DanHenkTattoosHOSTED/images/gallery/frankie1.jpg

So you have finally reached your breaking point and have decided the only solution for those fat zits that are planted in the middle of your Frankenstein forehead is to conduct a pimples popping party. And make those bad boys go splat on the bathroom mirror. Before you continue on you merry way keep in mind these tips that are imperative for your little adventure. They will minimize the risk of permanent scarring and ensure a successful escapade.
First, wash your hands. Dirty hands are an invitation for infection and next to scarring is the last thing you are trying to accomplish.
Second, sterilize a needle. Trust me play it safe. Use alcohol or heat the needle over a flame. If you are using the flame technique make sure you don't leave any soot on the needle. Otherwise you have just created a primitive tattooing needle and can leave little black period marks on your skin.
Third, make a warm compress from hot water. If time and circumstance allow take a hot steamy shower and let your pores get good and open. If a shower isn't in the cards the warm compress applied directly on the pimples will soften the skin and loosen the puss, allowing the popping to go much easier.
Fourth, gently prick the surface of your whiteheads with the end of your sterile needle. All you are attempting to accomplish is to create a release for the pus that lies just below the cap. You want to get the pus flowing and nothing more. If the lesion is a cyst with no head on it leave it alone.
Fifth, with gauze or tissues between your fingers and cushioning you skins gently apply pressure around the pimple to assist in the flow of pus. Continue applying gentle pressure as long as necessary. If you meet too much resistance or feel additional squeezing will not produce results. Then it's time to stop wash up and apply an astringent to kill any bacteria.
That's it. That's all there is to it.
One final thought: apply gentle pressure, don't force the issue. Being patient and gentle is the mantra you should be singing in your head. Happy pimple popping.

How to Choose the Right Monster Tattoos

http://www.tattoo22.com/def9.jpg

Are you the type of person that is fascinated with monsters? Do things such as the Loch Ness monster and Bigfoot fascinate you? When we were young, these creatures may have scared us to a point and may have had us spending countless nights under our beds. The older we became, the less scary this stuff was to us and some of us began to enjoy it and we became excited to watch it. The main way to celebrate the awe of any type of monster is with monster tattoos.
There are many options to choose from, and can include goblins, Frankenstein, and more. Researching and some online and offline browsing can help find the perfect design to choose. You should start with a general thought of what type you may want to choose. This can give you a starting point and may lead you in a certain direction. Your search can be slimmed down leading you to a decision much faster.
When selecting monster tattoos, be sure you are going to like the design. There are a few factors to keep in mind when looking at designs. Consider things such as the size, color, and design. Do you want just an outline? What location on your body would you like the tattoo to be? Do you want a tattoo that is full of color?
For those who work in an environment that has certain policies, make sure that your tattoo will not violate them. For those who may need to get smaller work done, consider areas such as the back, back of the neck, or on your upper arms or back of the legs.
When it comes to the size of the tattoo, consider the type of impact it should have. Are you trying to appear tougher with the fact that there are monster tattoos hiding underneath your clothing? Think about all aspects of the tattoo when choosing a design out to ensure you get the one you truly want.

Celtic Dragon Tattoo

Dragons are mythical creatures that are present in many cultures, and are used in many tattoo designs. A Celtic dragon tattoo portrays a variety of meanings to the person who wears it, and can be favorable to suffice one's craving for a unique form of art. Having a real dragon may be impossible, but having a dragon as a tattoo is relatively easy to achieve. Here are some things to consider in choosing which dragon tattoo to get:
The Celtic dragon is used to signify the creation of life and the birth of living creatures. In Celtic mythology, dragons contribute to the "balance" of the world itself. It can also symbolize strength, as it is believed that places where these dragons stay often are the spots where great power can be found.
If used as a tattoo, the Celtic dragon can be quite a sight to bask in. Its appearance can be overwhelming especially when the artist enhances the image with color and character. The Celtic tattoos are preferred mostly by men to give a sense of superiority. As this tattoo is of masculine nature, women who have strong personalities take fancy in this design.
What is more, Celtic dragons are used by the Welsh in their flag with a script scrolled below it stating their belief in the abilities of the dragon. These people seek the dragon for guidance in their lives. As such, the dragon is perceived as a sacred entity that is the most powerful of all. Tattoos using the said image can be made with reference to various historical writings and documents if a more traditional design I preferred. On the other hand, if the person to get the tattoo wishes to have a Celtic dragon that is one-of-a-kind, he may ask for assistance from skilled tattoo artists.
While some people may prefer to have their tattoo designs made by an artist before going to the tattoo salon. There are also images of the Celtic dragon available on the Internet that can make chosen as a design. The important thing in this venture is that the tattoo artist should be adept in inking the designs even if it is not of his own creation.
Also, the tattoo of a Celtic dragon is best chosen for areas of the body that can accommodate a large design. Flat and broad areas such as the chest or the back of the body are the best parts to cover with this kind of tattoo. This is because the beauty of a Celtic tattoos can be best appreciated when it is made with great detail, which will not be possible if it would only cover a small part of the body. The arms and thighs may be adorned with a tattoo of the Celtic dragon, but its detail would be limited.

Phoenix According To Chinese Mythology

http://www.instablogsimages.com/images/2009/05/09/mb_phoenix-tattoo_yvZJA_22979.jpg

According to Chinese mythology, the phoenix is the symbol of grace and virtue and is second only in importance to the Dragon. It represents the union of yin and yang, and was a gentle creature associated with the Empress, who alone could wear its symbol. The feathers of the Chinese phoenix were black, white, red, green and yellow - the five primary colours. In Japan, the phoenix is found carved into sword hilts, and the image of the bird seen as embroidery on kimonos. Along with the sun, the phoenix is one of the emblems of the Japanese Empire. In Japanese tattooing the phoenix is often twinned with the the dragon, symbolizing yin and yang, the harmonious combining of the best of the feminine and masculine virtues.

http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs49/f/2009/171/a/a/aa9eb17ab29c315532b59aa2cf01630b.jpg

Tales of the phoenix appear in ancient Arabian, Greek, Roman, and Far Eastern mythology. In both Greek and Egyptian tales, the phoenix represented the sun, dying in flames at the end of the day and rising each morning. Early Christians came to view the flight of the phoenix as a symbol of rebirth and the resurrection, leaving the old world for the new world of the spirit, dying and rising again, reborn. It symbolized the victory of life over death, immortality, and Christ's resurrection. Jewish legend describes the phoenix as the one creature that did not leave paradise with Adam, and that its legendary longevity is due to abstaining from the forbidden fruit that tempted the 'first man'. On Roman coins, the phoenix represented an undying empire.

Celtic Butterfly Tattoo Patterns

http://www.freetattoodesigns.org/images/celtic-butterfly-tattoos.jpg

The butterfly is a symbol for rebirth and transformation. Just like a beautiful butterfly comes out of his cocoon, the person who wears a butterfly tattoo has gone through some difficult times and is ready to face the world again. In some cultures the butterfly is the personification of someone's soul. The Celtic butterfly tattoo is often quite small and feminine looking, making it appropriate for the ankle or shoulder. The butterfly is also often seen as a lower back tattoo, adorned with Celtic swirls.

Celtic Tattoo Pattern

Here's an overview of the various Celtic tattoo designs and their meaning. Some of these designs are very old, dating back several thousand years and they will give you aesthetic satisfaction for years to come.
Celtic Tattoos: think of Celtic knots, crosses or spirals – or, more often than not, an intricate combination of several of these symbols. Celtic tattoos are definitely one of the most attractive types of tattoo out there today. Popular are the Celtic cross, butterfly, tree of life and the shamrock.

Straight Edge Stomach Tattoo

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/162/421598509_fdfe9cf8a3.jpg?v=0

Straight Edge has developed a bad name with help of the media. Consequently, all of these media reports were widely criticized by those within the straight edge movement as biased, distorted and wrong”. In some places Straight Edge is known as a dangerous and violent movement.

Edge Letter Tattoo Inside The lip

http://a379.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/35/l_6fad72fe80a19235ab9491f4ef42ed5a.jpg

One Straight Edger said, “I love tattoos and I think sXe is like a tattoo in your mindset, so why not get it inscribed on you for life. Becoming sXe is thought to be a life long commitment “True Till Death”. Singer Bif Naked states, “It's a commitment not to do these things [drugs, alcohol, & promiscuous sex] for the rest of my life. Every passing year I have Straight Edge under my belt, I have more conviction about it. Many people don't take sXe as serious as it needs to be taken and many people “lose the edge” as it's called. When people break the edge it is considered a disgrace and a term has been coined in making fun of people that stop being Straight Edge.

The Straight Razor Tattoo

http://www.anonymoustattoo.com/images/tattoos/zack/color/truetildeath.jpg

The straight razor has many meanings, it has been used for decades. Mostly interpreting an image of edginess or being bad. razors have been used as weapons to hurt others or oneself. They have been used as tools for cutting, to include cutting various narcotic substances. The most used straight razor usually has a scroll around it stating "Love thy neighbor", or "Trust no one". another weapon used in this despictation are the brass knuckles, or a blackjack.

Straight Edge 'True Void Dead' Tattoo

A tattoo that has something to do with straight-edge, a subculture and lifestyle choice about not drinking, doing drugs or having casual sex. a straight-edge tattoo could be lyrics from an edge band or x's.

Straight Edge Dove Tattoo

http://www.zhippo.com/PrimalUrgeTattoosHOSTED/images/gallery/justins-chest.jpg

At first, it had no name, only a symbol. X's are applied on the back of hands by a magic maker. Straight Edge youths say they ‘X up' for a show. ‘X' became a symbol for Straight Edge participation in the 1980s in Washington, D.C. ‘hardcore' scene after bouncers marked underage concertgoers. Straight Edge youth marked themselves to signify they would not drink and were drug free. The ‘X'often appears as a part of the elaborate tattoos sported by Straight Edge youths.

Pee Wee Herman Tattoo

Pee Wee Herman is a rather iconic figure in many of our childhoods, but really, a tattoo of Pee Wee?

Not to mention, a bizarre twisted cartoon version, of the artist formerly known as Paul Reubens.

Terrible Straight Edge Tattoo

http://www.xsisterhoodx.com/images/fbfiles/images/dude_203.jpg

“In the early 1980s the term ‘straight edge' was coined to describe a youth subculture within the punk rock scene, a subculture that chose a lifestyle that abstained from alcohol, tobacco and drugs as well as promiscuous sex” (Helton Online 1). Straight Edge is the ultimate form of rebellion. Many people see sXe as a form of reverse rebellion (Batsell Online 4) because the way of life mainstream had forced upon the youth was being challenged. The rebellion against society is what created Straight Edge. Vegetarianism (the absence of meat in one's diet) and animal rights has become closely related to sXe. “Earth Crisis [a hardcore band], for example, has led to the development of vegan [absence of all animal by-products from one's diet and absence of using products made with or tested on animals] straight edge, with its evangelistic vegan lifestyle and strong association with animal rights”

Straight Edge XXX Tattoo

[sxe+3.jpg]

The history of  XXX  is well documented in punk music. Punk music originated in the late 1970's by The Ramones (a US band) and Sex Pistols (a UK band), no one is sure who started punk music but everyone knows it will never die. Punk music was not only a new sound but it was new lifestyle for youth that was tired of following the actions mainstream society had forced upon them. As rebellion grew in the punk community alcohol and drugs were commonplace. “At its conception, Straight Edge was a reaction to the self-destruction of punk rockers. Artists like Sid Vicious [Bassist of Sex Pistols], infamous for his fatal use of drugs and alcohol, stood for everything a straight punk would be against. Straight Edge provided the hardcore/punk scene an alternative to the calamitous ‘drunk punk' In essence, it became a counterculture within a counter-culture“

The Straight Edge life

http://racketmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/sxe_tattoo_mine.jpg

What is Straight Edge? What is Punk?” The Straight Edge life originally defined by the Washington, D.C. hardcore band Minor Threat and Ian MacKaye, lead singer of the band Minor Threat, is identified as the ‘founder' of Straight Edge”. The term Straight Edge was first defined as the title of a Minor Threat song “Don't smoke, Don't Drink, Don't F*** ” (Minor Threat).
In my paper I will be giving the history of Straight Edge (sXe) and punk and what they have to do with each other. I'll also be telling how sXe spread into a worldwide philosophy and the bad reputation it has developed over time. Finally I'll explain were I take part in all this and what sXe means to me.

The punk lifestyle and Straight Edge Tattoo

http://zhippo.com/SecretLakeTattooHOSTED/images/gallery/xjoex1.jpg

The punk lifestyle and Straight Edge beliefs seem so different, like opposite ends of the spectrum but they're not. Straight Edge is a belief stemmed from a group of punk kids though already in a rebellious lifestyle, wanting to go one step farther.

Straight Edge Temporary Tattoo

http://media.apnonline.com.au/img/news/2005/11/19/NS1913E_t325.jpg

If the temporary tattoo is going on one of your kids, they'll probably already have strong ideas about where it is allowed, and not allowed! If you're popping on a cool temporary tattoo of your own, though, you might want to think beyond the bicep. Here are some unusual but attractive placements for temporary tattoos, depending on their shape SIMMO wears black and sports tattoos, has ears pierced as wide as your thumb and delights in slamming into people at hard core, heavy metal music gigs.
His lifestyle choice is extreme too -? although not as you might expect.
This gentle and articulate 22-year-old surf instructor is part of the Straight Edge youth movement which, despite the hard core music scene it connects with, makes clean-living its mantra and is sweeping across the Northern Rivers.
Born in the USA as a reaction to the ultra-violent lyrics of 1980s punk music, Straight Edge is now a growing youth subculture in which the kids don't take drugs, don't drink alcohol and shun promiscuity.
Many are also strict vegans and don't drink coffee or take prescription drugs.
The Northern Rivers Straight Edge members gained unwanted nationwide notoriety after it was alleged on A Current Affair that they were involved in media celebrity Rex Hunt's brawl with a group of Byron youths ? although the Straight Edge kids The Northern Star spoke to said they were witness only to the brawl and none of their ilk threw a punch ? and they certainly weren't drunk.

Straight Edge Chest Tattoo

http://www.anonymoustattoo.com/images/tattoos/zack/color/straightedge.jpg

A 15-year-old skater in a confrontational and sparring spirit approached an older punk. The young one spoke, apparently meeting this guy for the first time in a scrutinizing manner with a twist of an East Coast surfer dialect, “Are you or aren't you?” “Am I or am not what?” the older punk said, sort of smugly but puzzled... “Straight edge!” he answered in a matter-of-fact way. “Well,” said the punk, “I don't drink, and I really don't smoke or smoke pot or anything, but I don't know ...I really don't label myself as ‘straight edge',” he said a little righteously and maturely. “That's way lame!” said the skater, abruptly ending the inquisition and laughing at himself while walking off. “This”, I thought, “is what killed straight edge, and at the same time, this is what made it grow into an enormous subculture worldwide- a punk attitude with conservative principles”.

Girl Tattoo With red Heart Tattoo on Breast

XXX Carved Neck Tattoo

http://iamstraightedge.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/scar-tattoo-finished.jpg

How bad? That depends on where you're getting it. A general rule of thumb: Less flesh, more pain. Arms aren't bad. Chests are supposed to be a bit worse. The back wasn't as bad, but it felt a little weird when he did shading over the edges of my shoulder blades. But this one is not as easy as you think, this is a real carved tattoo on skin. I don't think that it's an ordinary tattoo, but it's an implant tattoo. Hell ya !

Straight Edge Symbol Tattoo

http://iamstraightedge.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/XXXLeg.jpg

The letter X often represents this lifestyle. This is because when this movement (for lack of a better word) started in the mid-80's, clubs would put an X on the hand of those who were too young to drink. Eventually the straight edge scene started bringing themselves to clubs with the X already on their hands.

Chinese character tattoo

Chinese character tattoos or kanji tattoos are tattoos consisting of Chinese characters (hanzi or kanji).
There have been cases where tattoo artists have been caught writing foul or silly slogans, inaccurately-translated characters, or pseudo-Chinese gibberish on their clients, who are unaware of the actual meaning of the Chinese characters.

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3Je5davZastSgFiDN31u7PtRYVH-fEFstCKEVVWzCnJfIJS5BXB2UCThfoAiiRNTD-YQeJmRbzFfy3_rHGZAneNXJ8cyjx_UGdNX1icsiC1R0nVfXXyKgeDQJt-8-Mwl9qZx88NmlyZws/s400/chinese+character+free+tattoo+design.jpg

Chinese character (in addition to Japanese kana) tattoos are commonly found on mixed martial artists who are familiar with Asian martial arts. Chuck Liddell, a former UFC champion, tattooed his scalp to read Koei-Kan or "house of happiness and prosperity", the style of karate he trained in. Georges St. Pierre, another UFC champion as well as a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and karate, has the kanji word for "jujutsu" on his chest. Jeff Monson has the characters for "Hero" on his upper back.
